lets say there is a really short bar, and there is a tall guy and the bar is only up to his knees. If he bends his knees, he can basically clear it.
Now take a short guy where the bar is up to his waist. He cant just bend his knees, he has to jump vertically.

exactly u can be 5'7'' or 6'5'' but if the 5'7'' has a 40in vert or more and the 6'5 onmly has a 21 it really doesnt matter they both can prolly jump over it.now if one of them weighs 230lbs copared to 160 or 180 then thats diff.
