Oct 28, 2008 - my school picture from 5th grade is one of my absolute favorites; I wore this little pantsuit with pants and a vest (it was 1996!) and had glasses that I actually liked, so that was fun. I thought I was something else! :D The bad part about 5th grade was that we did the play Cinderella and I really wanted the lead, but didn't get it. Why? because, and the director told me this directly, I had brown hair and glasses, and Cinderella just doesn't look like that. Can you believe that?!?

Nov 10, 2008 - I ALWAYS wanted braces. I remember in about 3rd grade I found a paper clip on the floor. On the FLOOR, where thousands of 8 year olds recess covered feet have run over. I picked it up, excused myself to the bathroom and placed it over my teeth and marveled at myself for ten minutes. It wasn't too fun when I actually got them.

I just moved to a new state and I'm from NY, NY and even in Manhattan there are Chinese people and I'm American Chinese and i mean the people in the stupid state i just moved in were so...ARGH! it was so stupid how much I was made fun of for being Asian. Nov 16, 2008 - fifthe grade was one of my favorite years of grade school. i had a lead in the play. my bff and i were a grade above everyone academic wise. everything was working out good for me. i actually got expanders or braces or something like that in fifth grade, so yeah, it was a lot of fun.

Nov 16, 2008 - I hated 5th grade D: That was the second time (I think) that I got in trouble at school and I always wanted to be the goodygoody. I had a really hard time in math and my teacher seemed like she hated me. I cried everytime I didn't get something and my teacher always got mad so I got in trouble twice with "stickies" which were these little white slips of paper that a kid got when they were bad and it was documented or something. I was so sad because I had to tell my mom and all that. It sucked.

Nov 20, 2008 - Fifth grade rocked. I had a lot of friends. I got in a fight with my best friend though, middle of the year was pretty rough, gotta say that. My teachers were pretty good, and I'm glad I had them. I still remember the exact conversation of me and my friend makin up [it was at the fifth grade dance, that's not weird at all (sarcasm)] Um, yeah, Good beginning, shitty middle, great end, that's what she said. Um yeah that about it.
